FAQs
What type of paper do you use for Art prints?
I have selected a high quality, sustainable Giclée printing service which I have been using for some years in London. Prints are printed on Hahnemüle Photorag paper. The paper gives muted blacks with even colour reproduction, and excellent detail. The surface has minimal texture with a chalky smooth cotton feel which creates smooth colour gradients. It has a delicate surface, so I recommend extra care when handling. It is a perfect match for printing art and photography prints which exceptional colour matching and detail of the original artwork

How do you print from the original artwork?
I photograph all of my artwork myself using a DSLR camera, I then use the Adobe creative suite to check size and resolution and prepare the photograph for print.
Being an experienced photographer and photo editor means I have experience not only in print production, but post print production and the final print. I have a high standard when it comes to print replication, and make sure my Art prints are as close to the original piece as possible
Do you have any example photographs of your Art prints?
I understand it is hard to imagine sometimes what the replica of the original will be like, and it’s nice to see a more tangible photograph of a print. Send me an email if you’d like some sample photographs of prints
Borders and framing
The border relates to white space around the print, this does not adjust the print / or paper size you will receive. There is no option of colour, as the border relates to white space only, a coloured border would be best achieved with an insert aperture mount from a stockist of these. The border has no relation to framing either.
If you’d like a border / white space around your print at an additional cost, please contact me to discuss this desired dimensions of the border, I will can take creative initiative in the decision if you would like me too.
I do offer framing services at an additional cost, and this will need to be discussed and planned beforehand, this would be best to email me first to discuss shipping and logistics, as well as cost. Possible for UK only
